Shifting the conversation: equipping students with skills to talk to peers

The CAPSA training day was a great learning experience. Samuel engaged with the groups and provided useful ideas, arguments and techniques in facilitating a conversation and awareness on the issue of people seeking asylum. I personally definitely took a lot out of the experience in terms of new found knowledge on the dilemmas that these people face throughout the process we have in place and what issues arise in our culture from these issues. Samuel provided us with the necessary skills to facilitate our own conversations around the issues and the information given out was detailed and more than helpful.
