Housing Assistance

The parish has provided accommodation for asylum seekers in the parish house since 1998.  Bethany House also provides support for women asylum seekers. Our Lady’s Parish House Brunswick East provides accommodation for another asylum seeker family.

Brunswick Connect Inc. occupies part of St. Ambrose’s Parish Centre, bringing people seeking asylum and community members together, including through English classes supported by parishioners. The Parish joins with other Brunswick Christian Churches in actions of support for asylum seekers.
