St Therese’s Parish [Essendon]

The St Therese’s Parish Refugee and Asylum Seeker Support Group meets every second month to prayerfully reflect, share information and plan support for families whom we are visiting.

At present there are seven families whom we visit and offer friendship, material support as needed, guidance with language needs, rental assistance and links into the community. From time to time the parish conducts education evenings and small fundraising activities to support this outreach work. We are grateful to St Vincent de Paul local group for their generous help in working with us to offer material support to families as needed.
